Modify pen down mechanism to
1- capture the solenoid pin, so that it can't fall out
2- more range/distance between pen up and pen down, and a softer pen down

The new version of the kit, coming this summer, replaces the solenoid with a hobby servo motor-- this makes it much easier to align the pen and picks it up fast or slow, and can move it further out of the way.
